As part of the Armed Forces Covenant, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has initiatives that help current and former members of the armed forces and their families access Jobcentre Plus services. The NHS employs a significant number of healthcare professionals and non-clinical staff who are members of the Armed Forces community. This includes reservists, service leavers, military spouses, dependants, cadets and cadet forces adult volunteers. Here we provide all the information and resources that you need to support the Armed Forces community as an employer in the NHS.
A fully funded support service to help military spouses and partners get the job they want. It's available to all spouses and partners of any serving (or recently discharged) member of the British Armed Forces, including Reserves. It's completely free. The course is fully funded by Armed Forces charities.
