Mutual Support

Mutual Support exists for Serving and ex-Serving members of the Armed Forces and Reserves, their dependants and carers affected by multiple sclerosis (MS).


This provides guidance and practical support for the partners and families of serving RAF personnel. Find out what to do in a family emergency. Seek guidance when your serving family member is posted or deployed or if you need info and support around housing or medical and dental care. You can also find your local HIVE

RAF Air Cadets

A UK wide cadet scheme for 12-20 year olds, sponsored by the RAF. Includes flying, gliding, adventure training, D of E award, sports and so forth. Also has holiday camps in the UK and overseas.
Also has a volunteering option for over 20s to help run the Cadets

RAF Benevolent Fund

Their principal activities are: To provide assistance to the RAF Family, when they are in need. To maintain and preserve the RAF Memorial in London on behalf of the nation. To support the morale and wellbeing of the serving RAF.

RAF Central Fund

A charity originally founded by serving RAF personnel, dedicated to providing support to enhance the sense of well-being, morale and community cohesion for those serving in the RAF today and into the future. They run the Sports lottery and provides grant funding for sports programmes

RAF Families Federation

The RAF HIVEs Service provides an information and welfare referral service to the Armed Services community, including serving Personnel, their families, veterans, Reservists, and civilians on Station.
The HIVEs can support you on: relocating, local station and civilian facilities, schools and further education, housing, healthcare facilities, employment and training opportunities, places of interest.


This is a partnership wth the RAFBF - providing support and up to 6 free counselling sessions for those struggling with their relationships. Available to serving and former serving members, even if stationed overseas.

Royal British Leigon

The Legion is here to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families. And we’re not going anywhere. Our support starts after seven days of service and continues through life, long after service is over.


We exist to relieve need, suffering and distress amongst the Armed Forces, veterans and their families in order to support their independence and dignity.
